Description
Some souvenirs just hang about; this one earns its keep. An elegant metal fridge magnet shaped like a bicycle with a basket, its frame proudly lettered "Polska", and a bottle opener built discreetly into the design. Both wheels are filled with colourful textured stickers with an embossed surface that is pleasant to the touch and shimmers metallically in the light: the rear wheel carries the Polish White Eagle – the crowned eagle that has been Poland's emblem for centuries – on a white-and-red background woven from the word Polska, while the front wheel shows a view of the Chełmno Gate, the medieval brick gateway that still guards the old town of Brodnica, alongside a crisp, raised, glossy nickel-look Brodnica lettering. On the back sit two small but mighty neodymium magnets that hold the piece safely and firmly to any metal surface.
